Company History

Ms. Bartolomei studied Art and Design in Italy before returning to the University of Maryland to complete her degree in Interior Design.
She has continued her studies in Fine Art, Architecture and Antiques
In England, France, Italy and at George Washington University.

For 10 years, she worked for large architectural firms, concentrating on commercial interiors, including restaurants, hotels, banks, retail stores, law offices and health facilities. 

In 1986, she opened Bartolomei & Co Interior Design, specializing in full service residential interiors.  Buying trips to London, Paris, NY, Atlanta, New Orleans and California have provided her clients with unique furnishings and artwork.

Ms. Bartolomei has completed projects in Amman, Jordon,  Palm Beach, Florida, Bermuda, Greenwich, Conn., New York City, The Hamptons, San Francisco, as well as numerous residences in the Washington, DC area.
